Talking about how powerful web 2.0 is in allowing people the ability to push and pull content on the internet. Friedman says when we have this much connectivity “what ever can be done will be done.”  Here are a couple of sites create by a teacher by the name of Alan from Alaska who is helping create great resources and tools for the classroom.

“The first site is called goCloudware.com <http://www.gocloudware.com> .  This free site offers a categorized listing of web applications, including information about the app, discussion boards, rankings, and an Educator’s Forum where teachers can post lesson plans related to particular web apps.”

“The second site is a web application called QuickieQ.com <http://www.quickieq.com> .  You are probably familiar with the little handheld classroom response systems (we call them “clickers”).  QuickieQ is similar but works using the Internet and computers.  It is great for 1-1 laptops,  mobile labs, distance ed (web based and asynchronous), and even computer labs.”

I hope you find them as useful as I do.
